SERVICES PROVIDED
Income Tax Preparation
My
firm prepares personal, partnership, corporate, trust and
estate tax returns. I have over 25 years experience preparing
income tax returns. Each year, I receive over 40 hours of
continuing professional education, the majority of which is
in the area of taxation. Tax laws are constantly changing,
and it is important that your tax preparer be abreast of the
latest changes in the law.
Tax Filing/Collection Issues
Are you
behind in filing income tax returns? Or has the IRS or state
tax authorities assessed a large tax liability against you
that you cannot pay? I have helped many clients file back
years returns and get current with the IRS. I can also advise
and assist you in working out a settlement or payment plan
you can live with. Remember, it is a crime not to file income
tax returns when they are due. However, by voluntarily stepping
forward and getting caught up; taxpayers usually can avoid
criminal penalties. If you need to file but don’t know where
to start, I can help.
Interim & Part-Time CFO/Controller
All
businesses, regardless of size, need access to timely, high
quality financial analysis. However, hiring a full time CPA
or other financial professional is a luxury many small businesses
cannot afford. But those businesses could afford and benefit
from a part time CFO/Controller, someone who comes in maybe
one or two days a week and is paid an hourly rate.
Sometimes businesses find themselves in a transitional state,
such as when a key accounting employee leaves the company.
Such companies could really use an experienced accountant
to help with the transition period until a permanent replacement
can be hired.
In both cases, I can help, either by providing such services
personally or through one of my strategic partners.
Monthly & Quarterly Accounting
If your business needs help with the many recurring periodic tasks, such as payroll, payroll tax returns, sales tax returns, general ledger and monthly financial statements, I can assist you.
Strategic Planning
Many times, small business owners get so wrapped up in the day-to-day details of their business that they fail to set aside time for long range planning to adequately respond to the ever-changing marketplace. One way to make sure this essential function is not overlooked is by the use of strategic planning.
Effective strategic planning sessions normally conducted at a site away from the office and involve all key members of the management team. A moderator or leader from outside the business provides a key service by stimulating the conversation, asking questions and helping to keep the meetings on track.
I have over 25 years experience as a CPA, having seen many different businesses and organizations, I have the kind of background that makes for an effective strategic planning leader. I would be more than happy to meet with your company’s management team to discuss a strategic planning retreat for your company.
